What is the distance from the wall to the end of the sofa?
The sofa is 30" deep and the bed is 16". It is about 36" from that back wall.
I absolutely love it BUT What if I wanted to watch tv while lying in bed?😢

That would be a problem with this design. We mainly build this one for situations where the murphy bed may go in a main living area of the house or in a game room. Other designs may be better suited if needing to utilize the bed and TV at the same time. Thanks for the comment.

What thickness of plywood did you use?
That we used 1/2" Baltic Birch and 3/4" MDF. The top was the 1/2".

The 65” TV looks small in that large unit.
Nice furniture. Also, we have 120 volt outlets here. Will that work with your old style 110 volt outlets?
I may have mentioned it incorrectly. The outlets are standard US 120 volts.

Is it possible for this uni t to be built with a full size version I stead of king size for people in apartments?
Yes we can make this in full size.
I really like this model because I like the left side cabinet features. My windows and air conditioner are on the right side in my apt. I like the fact that there are file drawers for important papers.
how do you keep the pillow on the bed?
It is best if a horizontal unit is installed in a corner. The wall acts as a headboard. If the bed is going in the middle of a room we suggest we add a removable headboard. www.wwbeds.com/horizontal-headboard

How deep are the shelves?
The front bookcases are 8" deep. The bookcase off to the side are 13 7/8" deep.
Hmmm thinking if there was a small box near the desk outlets could be great for cable management. Will have to keep that in mind.
Can u also make wardrobes on both sides instead of shelves and possibly shelves underneath that fit the containers to put stuff in
Yes we can make the sides into wardrobes with a hanging rod. We can also customize the lower section of the bookcase.

Lovely space saving product for an occasional guest room, but putting on clean bedding is a pain, and if 2 people are using the bed, the one one the inside has to either crawl to end of bed or climb over the one on the outside. That was possible when I was 30, not so much at 76!😢
